Not Sure Why??

I am not sure why I have started this blog. I don't feel my life is really anything to read about. I guess a little background on me might be a place to start. I grew up in a small farm down in Pennsylvania. My family (on my mother's side) lived in this same small town for nine-generations. My father's side of the family is a different story and tended to move from town to town, state to state, depending on work. They settled down finally in my small home town when my father was a teen and have stayed there since. I spent my whole life praying and hoping that I could escape that small home town of mine. I ran from my mother's home to my husband's mother's home and from there I ran to Florida where I live now. I have been here for 20-years and it was the first of only a few great decisions I ever made. The next great decision I made was joining the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have had my struggles through my 19-years in the church, but it has never been about doctrine, but about my weakness as a person. I felt that once I made the commitment to being a member, that I would instantly be made perfect. It took me years to figure out that perfection comes from living the gospel and through trials. What else can I tell you to introduce myself??? I guess I could tell you that I live with my sister and two of my three children. My oldest child has lived on him own for 3-4 years now. I work a full-time job and currently my sister is unemployed. So that's about it for now. =0D

  1. I am so glad you started this. I love what you've done with it. I hope you keep it up. You have always had a great talent for communication in the teaching and speaking that I've seen you do. This post is emerging evidence that your talent extends to writing as well. I look forward to reading more.

    Lots of Love,
